Eleven o'clock at night, finally settling in.

The saga continues.
I-70 closed due to rock slide, so CDOT redirected to 285. Denver to Fairplay is normally 2.5 hrs - took us 4.5, and they closed 285 the other direction shortly before we hit Fairplay. Black ice, wind, multiple cars off the road, vehicles unable to gain traction going uphill.
Walked out of Sinclair into a blizzard. Left Fairplay at 6:20. Got through Alma but stuck waiting on Hoosier Pass.
EDIT: Hoosier Pass closed. Turned around and went back to Fairplay, where they're setting up emergency shelter at the fairgrounds. Currently ensconced at the Platte River Saloon and getting myself around some drinks and food.

At the emergency center set up in the high school at Fairplay. Due to Greg's spinal injury, he has been given the master suite: the nurse's office.
